Awful News: Mongo McMichael Announces He Has Been Diagnosed With ALS

Horrible, horrible news shared today by WGN.

The video really got me as well. If you lived in Chicago you know how much of a character Mongo was and to see him like that made me really fucking sad. From the Super Bowl team to wrestling and so many other local appearances Mongo really was the epitome of what this city is about.

I wish him and his family the best in an unimaginable situation.
